- How old is my water heater? Is it over ten years old?
- How often do I need to call a technician to have it repaired?

- Are there constant leaks underneath the tank?
- Does the water heater fail to heat the water up as it should?
Answering these questions can help you make the right choice.
What Type of Water Heater Should You Buy in Boonton, New Jersey?
Once you decide you need a new water heater, you’ll discover two main options:
Tank Water Heaters:
If it’s time to replace your old water heater, you’ve probably been using a tank water heater up to this point. A tank heater stores hot water and then heats it up once you start using the water. The heater continues to distribute hot water until the tank is empty and needs a refill.
Tankless units work differently than tank units. A tankless heater does not store water. Rather, it heats the water as it flows through the unit. The water is flash heated so that it produces hot water instantly. No matter how much hot water you need, the tankless unit will continue producing it without end.
You are likely to save money on up-front purchases and installation costs with tank heaters. You are also likely to incur fewer repair costs. Maintenance is also simpler due to the simplicity of the tank heater design.
With tankless heaters, you will experience long-term savings because they operate more efficiently and use less water. Tankless water heaters will save you 30-50% in operating costs.

About the City of Boonton, New Jersey
Boonton became a separate municipality, and was incorporated as a Town under a charter granted by the State Legislature in March, 1867. As early as 1747, Obadiah Baldwin operated an iron refining forge at that place, where water power was in ample supply, and raw materials, such as iron ore and wood for charcoal, were not too far away.
Under David Ogden, the owner of the site and a large tract of surrounding land, and, later, under his son, Samuel, the iron works was enlarged, and a village of workmen and their families emerged. This village was named by the Ogdens “Boone-Towne” in honor of the Colonial Governor, Thomas Boone, in the year 1761.
